Regarding the issue of the novel’s timeline

In the original work, there are multiple versions of the timeline for "Darkness of the Torrential Rain." One depicts Chu Zihang as a senior in high school and Lu Mingfei as a third-year middle school student in 2004. Another shows Chu Zihang as a second-year high school student and Lu Mingfei as a first-year high school student in 2005. However, the original clearly states that Lu Mingfei graduates from high school in 2009.

Based on suggestions from some readers, I intended to adjust the timeline of "Darkness of the Torrential Rain" to 2006, where Lu Mingfei is in his third year of middle school and Chu Zihang is a first-year high school student. This would align better with Lu Mingfei’s 2009 graduation year.

Unfortunately, halfway through the revision, the system warned me against making frequent chapter modifications, or I risk being banned (／_＼)... As a result, the story currently contains scenes set in both 2004 and 2006.

To avoid any risk of the work being taken down, I have now officially set the timeline to 2006, consistent with Lu Mingfei’s 2009 graduation.

As for the presence of both 2004 and 2006 scenes, I will update the timeline gradually, revising a portion each day until it is fully consistent.
