Fate really is smiling on me.

Roya curled the corners of his mouth upward.

“Are you here to rescue that fellow named Kaido?”

The boy, who looked a year or two older than Roya, examined him curiously. “I heard you call his name. I’ve seen him before. The government scientists are extracting all kinds of tissue from his body.”

“Yeah. He’s my big brother. He really is a handful, isn’t he?” Roya sighed. “He got captured by the Marines and now his little brother has to come rescue him. What an unreliable man. If I became his subordinate, I’d probably meet a terrible end. My wings might even be chopped off, and some tentacled pervert might suck me dry.”

Abel stared at Roya in bewilderment.

What was he talking about?

“Roya! You little brat, are you here? Hurry up and save me!”

Kaido’s delighted shout came from beneath the ruins in the distance.

“See?” Roya shrugged. “A useless adult.”

“Aren’t you going to rescue him?” Abel asked.

“I’ll save you first.”

Roya casually drew the sword at his waist.

The crimson blade left several red trails in the air.

With a series of sharp clinks, all the sturdy shackles restraining Abel snapped apart.

The boy was free once more.

Somewhat unaccustomed to the sensation, Abel rubbed his wrists and slowly climbed down from the operating table.

“But why?” Abel asked, puzzled. “This is the first time we’ve met.”

“Because you’re strong,” Roya replied. “I know how powerful the Lunarian race is—even I’ve heard of it. Join my company, Abel. From now on, I’ll protect you. All you have to do is follow me and help me turn this world upside down.”

Everyone knew that the moment someone said, “Let’s turn this world upside down together,” their powers of persuasion automatically rose by ten percent.

Don’t blame me, Big Brother Kaido.

It isn’t that your little brother has abandoned all decency. It’s simply that your right-hand man is far too alluring.

Who could possibly say no to a Lunarian with the power of a Mythical Zoan?

“Hey, Roya! What the hell are you doing? I’m over here!”

Big Brother Kaido’s voice rang out once more, weak yet strangely spirited.

You can wait a little longer.

Perhaps this was what they called cuckolding someone right in front of their spouse.

“Turn the world upside down together?”

Abel fell for it instantly, his eyes growing dazed. “You want to change this world?”

What had Big Brother Kaido said in the original story again?

Roya grinned. “Who else could do it but me?”

“I understand.”

Abel nodded. His gaze toward Roya gradually became serious. “Then let me see how you intend to change this world.”

“Welcome aboard, Abel!”

Roya extended his right hand. “From today onward, you’re the head of security at Calamity Company.”

“The head?”

Abel took Roya’s hand. “Understood, boss.”

“Call me Boss!”

“Yes, Boss!”

“Roya! You little bastard, what’s taking you so long?”

Roya turned his head, somewhat impatiently.

Big Brother Kaido really had no sense of timing.

Roya abruptly stamped his right foot.

Then come on out!

Boom!

The ground shook violently. The wreckage in the distance suddenly exploded, sending splashes of molten rock into the air.

A heavy metal operating table was blasted skyward by the volcanic ash, with Kaido still strapped to it.

The operating table crashed heavily to the ground, face-first.

“You little brat!”

Kaido’s furious voice came muffled from beneath the table.

“Big Brother Kaido, you look a little worse for wear.”

Roya walked over and casually nudged the table with his foot, flipping it—and Kaido—over.

Then he nearly lost his composure.

“Big Brother Kaido, you’re… not exactly dressed for the occasion, are you?”

The old man had not even put his trousers back on. His two long, hairy legs were completely exposed. No wonder he had been urging Roya to hurry.

Remembering something, Roya’s tone immediately became solemn and sorrowful.

“It’s all right. You didn’t do anything wrong. It was all the fault of those damned beasts!”

Abel, who had silently followed behind Roya, regarded Kaido with an equally strange expression.

He had never experienced anything like this himself. After all, he could weaken his defenses by extinguishing the flame behind his head.

“Enough nonsense! Hurry up and release me!”

Even an old hand like Kaido was both furious and humiliated at that moment.

Roya drew his sword once more. With several swift slashes, the Sea-Prism Stone shackles binding Kaido fell apart.

Before the razor-sharp Tiger Soul, even Sea-Prism Stone was nothing special. In the end, it was merely another kind of stone that could be processed.

…

The instant he was freed, Kaido sprang to his feet and silently pulled up his trousers.

Then he strode to a certain spot, slammed his right hand downward, plunged it through the ruins, and pulled out a gigantic iron club.

Crackling black lightning danced across the black club.

“Three Realms: Ragnaraku!”

The massive iron club smashed into the ground.

The earth shook violently. The already shattered ruins exploded once again, and the devastating force pulverized nearly everything in the area.

The presences buried beneath the ruins had likely been crushed to pieces.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Blow after blow, Big Brother Kaido vented his fury without restraint.

Roya and Abel each beat their wings and hovered in midair, silently watching Kaido unleash his rage below.

Big Brother Kaido was such a good man. What a pity.

Actually, this was the perfect time to shout, “I’ll slaughter every last one of you!”

Only after pounding the ground into a colossal crater did Kaido finally stop. His powerful chest still heaved violently, making it obvious that his anger had not yet subsided.

“Finished venting?”

Roya landed at the edge of the crater. “If you’re done, we should get ready for battle, Big Brother Kaido.”

He raised his head.

In the distance, the Marine hero had finished dealing with the falling meteorites. Now, the legendary Marine came streaking toward them, wrapped in a storm of fury.

Kaido leaped out of the crater. His gaze swept over Roya before immediately settling on Abel behind him.

“Oh, let me introduce you,” Roya said cheerfully. “This is Abel, a member of the Lunarian race. I rescued him, and he’s now the head of security at my company.”

Kaido’s expression instantly became complicated.

That damn brat!

He had taken a liking to this Lunarian too!

But Roya had beaten him to it!

Yet what could he say now?

Was he supposed to ask Roya to hand the Lunarian over to him?

Kaido simply could not bring himself to do that.

All he could do was grip his iron club and snort coldly.

Roya grinned broadly.

This was the difference between the interloper and the cuckold.

The interloper acted decisively, without the slightest hesitation.

The cuckold wavered and hesitated, all while pretending to be reserved.

If you refused to take advantage of an opportunity like this, who would?

“He’s here.”

Abel raised his head, and the flame behind it blazed fiercely.

A bolt of lightning shot down from the sky.

“That speed is absurd! Truly incredible!”

Even though he was their enemy, Roya could not help praising him. “At that speed, escaping won’t be easy!”

“Enough talk!”

Scales erupted across Kaido’s body as he immediately entered his dragon-man form.

“Get ready to take a beating, you little punks!”

Garp’s right fist gathered power, and thick bolts of Haki lightning radiated into the sky.

That level of Haki was simply outrageous!

Roya clicked his tongue. Even Big Brother Kaido was still hundreds of kilometers behind him!

“Fist Bone—”

The hero swung his fist with all his might.

“Impact!!”

A nuclear bomb descended once more. The invisible shock wave of Haki violently churned the air, blooming overhead in a dazzling radiance as brilliant as the sun.

“Big Brother Kaido, use that move! Our pulse-pounding combination attack!”

Roya gripped his sword with both hands and poured his Haki into his beloved blade. Crimson currents immediately gushed across Tiger Soul’s surface. They were so powerful that the bloodlike aura nearly transformed into red light, turning the entire sword into a turbojet spewing crimson radiance.

He raised the turbojet-like blade at an angle.

“Although I can’t coat it with Conqueror’s Haki, this sword should let me force out that technique.”

“Oh?”

Kaido’s lips curled upward. He likewise raised his iron club with both hands.

“Just don’t drag me down, brat!”

Roya grinned wildly. “Ha! Let’s show him the bond between us!”

“Seaquake!” x2.
