Five years later.

During these five years, Qian Wenyu never once slackened in her cultivation despite her exceptional talent. Now, at eleven years old, she had reached the Soul Sect Rank 40, though she had just recently broken through and had yet to acquire a soul ring.

Compared to Qian Wenyu, Hu Liena trained even harder and had now attained Soul Sect Rank 48.

As for Qian Renxue, she did not let her golden period of cultivation be wasted even while acting as an undercover in the Heavenly Dou Empire. With her talent, her soul power level had soared to Rank 70. She and her younger sister Qian Wenyu had broken through almost simultaneously, but she too had not yet gained her seventh soul ring.

It was well known that the Martial Soul Hall had three saintesses—the Angel Saintess, the Star Saintess, and the Fox Saintess—among whom the Angel Saintess and Star Saintess were peerless prodigies.

The Pope’s Hall.

Bibi Dong sat rigidly at the table, her face dark as she stared at the report before her, a tempest of fury raging inside.

A while ago, she had intended to reform the Martial Soul Hall and conducted a thorough investigation. She had not expected the degenerate elements scattered throughout the main and branch halls across the continent to be as numerous as a river in flood.

Corruption, bribery, bullying the weak, and every kind of evil imaginable—even massacres of entire villages—these atrocities were so cruel they defied belief!

“Mother!”

A young, light voice sounded. Bibi Dong’s expression softened slightly as she looked up to see Qian Renxue and Qian Wenyu entering hand in hand.

Qian Wenyu approached the table, her eyes filled with concern as she looked at Bibi Dong. “Mother, you don’t look well. Are you feeling unwell? Or did someone upset you?”

Bibi Dong passed the report on the table to Qian Wenyu. “Yuer, take a look at this.”

Qian Wenyu was puzzled but took the report and began to read.

It was a thick volume of dozens of pages. Reading swiftly—ten lines at a glance—she scanned through a dozen pages. The further she read, the grimmer her expression became. Every line was shocking.

The first dozen pages alone were enough to horrify. Qian Wenyu dared not imagine what vile deeds were recorded in the following tens of pages. These people, abusing the power of the Martial Soul Hall, had committed crimes beyond reckoning!

“Outrageous!” Qian Wenyu could no longer contain herself. She slammed the book shut on the table, her face frosted with cold fury.

Seeing their mother and sister’s rising anger after reading the report, Qian Renxue was curious about its contents and took it to read as well.

As she read, the smile on Qian Renxue’s face faded, and the pressure she radiated grew heavier and heavier.

“These people deserve death!” A cold glint flashed in Qian Renxue’s eyes. She then looked up at Bibi Dong. “Mother, leave the house cleaning to Yuer and me.”

Qian Wenyu shared the same resolve and nodded in agreement. “Yes, leave it to me and sister. We will make these people regret ever being born!”

“You two?” Bibi Dong hesitated before responding, uncertain.

She had originally intended to send several Title Douluo to purge the degenerates with overwhelming force, but she had not expected her two daughters to volunteer themselves. She pondered the feasibility of the plan.

Qian Wenyu nodded seriously. “Exactly. Sister and I have just broken through and need to hunt soul rings. Two of our teammates have also surpassed Rank 30 and need soul rings. We will first hunt soul rings in the Star Dou Forest as a team, then proceed to cleanse the main and branch halls.”

Qian Renxue agreed. “I share Yuer’s view. Those main and branch halls don’t even have Title Douluo; they pose no threat to us. With our strength, even Soul Douluo will fall before us.”

Bibi Dong found their logic sound. Her two daughters—Yuer’s defense could withstand a Title Douluo’s attack, and her offense was formidable. After acquiring her soul ring, Qian Renxue’s power reached over Rank 70, truly awakening the Angel Domain.

Moreover, the sisters possessed a combined Martial Soul Fusion technique, making them invincible to Title Douluo. Soul Douluo were no match for them.

“Very well. Consider it training before you participate in the next All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament,” Bibi Dong agreed, though she remained somewhat uneasy and ordered Douluo Ju to secretly guard them.

Elsewhere, when Qian Daoliu learned that his two granddaughters were leading a team out for training and to cleanse the Martial Soul Hall, he sent a Rank 95 Title Douluo to follow them covertly.

These two heavenly prodigies of the Martial Soul Hall, the Qian family’s Kirin children, deserved the utmost caution when venturing out.

Under the sparse moonlight, Qian Wenyu slipped quietly from her room and ran all the way from the Offering Hall to the Pope’s Hall.

Bibi Dong had not yet gone to bed, burdened with many matters to handle following the extensive investigation.

Seeing Qian Wenyu arrive, Bibi Dong asked in surprise, “So late, Yuer? Why are you not asleep? What brings you to your mother?”

Qian Wenyu hesitated for a long time, occasionally glancing discreetly at Bibi Dong’s face. Bibi Dong did not urge her, curious to see what had brought the young girl at such an hour.

At last, Qian Wenyu spoke cautiously, “Mother, do you… still have feelings for that person?”

Hearing this, Bibi Dong’s gaze suddenly turned sharp and cold. Though Qian Wenyu did not name the person, Bibi Dong immediately guessed.

Qian Wenyu would not refer to her own father, Qian Xunji, as “that person.” Aside from Qian Xunji, the only other person with whom Bibi Dong had entangled love and hate was the master from the Blue Electric Tyrannosaurus family. So the identity of “that person” was clear.

Qian Xunji was still alive this time. Bibi Dong’s past was no secret in the Offering Hall. The sisters, Qian Wenyu and Qian Renxue, had heard bits and pieces, and Qian Wenyu, with memories from a past life, knew even more than Qian Renxue.

“Why would Yuer ask this?” Bibi Dong calmed herself. She realized it had been a long time since she had thought of Yu Xiaogang. Had it not been for Yuer’s sudden question, she might have forgotten he ever existed.

Though she still deeply hated Qian Xunji, her feelings for Yu Xiaogang had gradually faded.

Yet there was one thing she was grateful for—if not for Qian Xunji’s threat forcing her to bear a child through Yu Xiaogang, she would never have two such outstanding daughters.

Now she had Renxue and Yuer. For these two daughters, it was time to completely let go of Yu Xiaogang.

Qian Wenyu said, “I was thinking, as we go out to train, we might encounter that master. I don’t like him. If we do meet, I won’t show him any mercy, so I came to test your feelings, mother.”

Bibi Dong sighed softly. “You don’t have to worry about me. I haven’t thought of him for a long time. Perhaps I truly have let go.”

Upon hearing this, Qian Wenyu’s face broke into a bright smile. “Mother, that’s how it should be. A cowardly scoundrel without responsibility isn’t worth your affection!”
