Chapter 29: Give Me Back My Emotions!
Bone Prison is most afraid of fire, which is why Bianca was able to block the exit single-handedly. Otherwise, it would have long since spread its dark aura throughout the Grand Flores, turning the entire forest into a stronghold before slowly eroding the magic circle.
The Sunfire is a scorching lightsaber forged from a molten carbon core, boasting artifact-grade quality. Even though his level is insufficient, the inherent properties of the lightsaber remain undeniably potent.
"Dust to dust, earth to earth. You aren't capable of Reanimation, so do you really think you're invincible just because you occupy a corner of a magic circle and manipulate a few corpses?"
Yelin stood at the edge of the magic circle, activating the Fifth Element. The Sunfire, like a flying sword from a cultivation tale, circled once in the air before plunging into the pile of corpses.
The aura of flame, which Bone Prison loathed most, began to spread. Like sparks falling into a pile of firewood, the entire mound was soon engulfed in roaring flames. The remains of the elves had already lost their moisture, and their withered muscles became the perfect fuel for the Sunfire.
"Burned away, and thus cleansed. To all of you who volunteered to mend the magic circle, rest in peace."
He crouched down, closed his eyes again, and pressed his hands against the edge of the great magic circle, the restoration process slowly unfolding. This time, Bone Prison was utterly powerless to resist, its mournful wails echoing within the flames.
"A Saint Warrior never gets defeated by the same move twice!"
Block!
He held his heirloom longsword diagonally, perfectly parrying the incoming projectile—a cold, sinister skull with ghost fire burning in its sockets. Bone Prison had actually launched its own head, attempting a final, desperate struggle!
The blade of the longsword tilted slightly, but no matter how hard it pressed, it could not snap this weapon blessed by the elves. The heirloom’s inherent light-attribute attack caused Bone Prison’s skull to char and sizzle.
"This time, truly goodbye!"
Just as the skull lost its strength and began to fall, the longsword pierced through Bone Prison's mouth. The Sunfire was recalled, impaling the skull through the forehead and pinning Bone Prison firmly to the ground.
"I know that as long as the great magic circle isn't purified, you are immortal. So, wait just a moment."
Without Bone Prison’s interference, the purification of the corrupted great magic circle accelerated several times over.
Hum~
The magic circle shimmered. Pure, flawless lines, as translucent as jade, rose slowly into the sky amidst Bone Prison’s desperate, ghostly wails, ultimately merging seamlessly with Myre’s main magic circle in the firmament.
At the same time, a flicker of fluorescent light emerged from the burning remains of the elves and sank directly into Seria’s brow.
The moment the magic circle ascended, Bone Prison's skull was melted into a puddle of black sludge by the Sunfire. The bone-chilling cold on the ground gradually dissipated, and the black currents that had entwined Tana and the others vanished without a trace.
"Seria, are you alright? That light just now..."
He helped Seria up, worried about whether that mysterious light was a blessing or a curse.
Seria looked dazed, a crystal tear tracing a path down her beautiful face.
Yelin panicked. Why was she crying? Had she been frozen by the ice on the ground?
She smiled and wiped away her tears, whispering, "I received a portion of memories—the memories of the Elven race."
In an instant, he was shaken to his core, a sense of disbelief washing over him. It seemed that certain destined events had quietly shifted off course...
"That’s good. As long as you’re okay."
"Yes. Once we finish dealing with the aftermath, let’s go to Hendon Myre and make money—lots and lots of money!"
He did not ask about Seria’s past. Whether or not she was truly the "One Who Knows Everything" no longer seemed to matter. Seria was still the same girl; her desire for wealth remained unchanged. She hadn't changed.
It was he who had changed; he had become an accomplice in Seria’s quest for wealth...
Kragh stood up shakily with her staff, while Tana, thanks to her draconic constitution, was as unaffected as if nothing had happened, squatting under the magic circle and looking up with curiosity.
"Sia, don't move, let me help you up."
"Oh, thanks..."
For once, Sia didn't bicker with him, as her mind was wandering in a haze of scattered thoughts.
"Although this guy is usually unserious, that resolute look he had when he pierced Bone Prison's skull with those two swords was actually quite impressive."
With this thought, the gaze she turned toward Yelin softened.
"The ground is very cold, are you frozen?"
His tone was full of concern, making Sia feel slightly awkward and blush. She nodded, squeezing a response from her throat: "It's alright. It felt like sitting on a block of ice; I lost a bit of feeling..."
Her hand instinctively went to rub her chilly thigh, but she froze the next moment, for her hand touched another hand, not the fabric of her trousers.
Silence...
Yelin turned and ran, with Sia in hot pursuit, brandishing her Hidden Dragon Greatsword in a fit of rage.
"You get back here! Give me back my moment of being touched! Illusion Sword Dance!"
A while later, Yelin rubbed his thigh, which had been kicked blue by Sia, and sheepishly picked up a wooden club.

"Without Bone Prison’s influence, these ruins will gradually turn into the likeness of Grakka. While it won't be sunny and bright, it won't be haunted by ghostly shadows anymore either."
Tana looked at the surrounding ruins and skeletons, feeling a sense of unreality.
Something had truly changed. Perhaps there was no visible difference right now, but hidden somewhere, a link in the chain of fate had completely shattered from its very first ring.
"Myre, Memet, it seems we have an unknown path ahead of us now..."
"Let's go back. My sister must be waiting for us to bring her good news."
Kragh was eager to return, jumping around with excitement.
"Coming."
Seria responded with a smile, then looked at the frowning Yelin and asked, "What’s wrong? Were you injured just now?"
"Not that. I just feel like I’ve forgotten something. Strange, Bone Prison is dead, after all."
He shook his head, deciding not to dwell on it. He didn't want to spend another moment on this land.
Tana glanced unobtrusively at the towering trees that had stood there all along, the ones surrounding the great magic circle.
On the trunk of one of those trees, beneath the cracked, dry bark, a silver light flickered...
At this moment, on the other side of the Black Thunderland ruins, in the barren wilderness outside the Grand Flores.
A beautiful young girl with pink hair and a cowlick was anxiously stroking her companion—a unicorn, the symbol of peace and purity.
"Mi-Gak, you've been eating random things again. What was that black stuff just now? Spit it out!"
The unicorn grunted reluctantly, but seeing the girl’s displeasure, it finally opened its mouth and spat it out.
"This is... a seed? Such an evil aura."
Armor-Piercing Impact!
"Alright, Mi-Gak, the evil aura inside seems to have vanished. Let’s go back. Lady Nymiel should have a new mission for us."
