Starting a new chapter—also seeking suggestions for the kingdom’s name!
It has been some time since I uploaded this new book. Watching the recommendation votes and bookmarks steadily rise every day has made me genuinely happy. I would also like to thank the three readers who sent tips! At least that spot is no longer sitting at zero!~~~~~
To be honest, I refresh my book page every day, hoping that each time I do, the various figures will have risen a little. Whenever they have, I feel truly comforted. It means that someone is reading my book after all. I am not struggling on alone!
A tender young tree needs everyone’s support and care before it can grow into a towering ancient tree! Thank you to all the readers who have already supported me!
I have been developing this book for a very, very long time. I even tried writing it once before, but my writing was even more immature back then. After finishing what I had written and reading it over, I deleted it immediately. Since then, I have spent a long time reading and accumulating experience. My writing is still rather poor now, but at least it is readable, right?
I have already completed the overall outline of the book, while the more detailed outline is still being refined. After chapters are published, if anyone notices a problem, feel free to point it out. I may make appropriate adjustments to the detailed outline.
Several readers have raised many questions, so I will offer a few broad spoilers. First, there is Lin Mu himself. His background is this: in his previous life, he was a mid- to low-level professional gamer who lived with unrequited and painful love. Although he achieved a modest amount of success, it was all ultimately erased by family and romantic troubles. Lin Mu will still have his flaws.
Later, many companions will appear in the real world, while many subordinates will emerge in the mythological world. Together, they will help Lin Mu set foot on the path to becoming an overlord, step by step! His horizons will also gradually expand as the story progresses.
I do not want the protagonist to appear and immediately display earth-shattering wisdom, peerless brilliance, and such an overwhelming aura that countless lackeys come running to kneel and flatter him. I really do not want to write that kind of story. What I want is for him to grow step by step, slowly and naturally!
Some readers also feel that the special advantage I gave the protagonist is too powerful. It truly is not. It was added appropriately in accordance with the later outline. After descending into the mythological world, Lin Mu merely used the experience from his previous life to obtain the Yellow Dragon Divine Token. Many of the opportunities come inherent to the token itself: the Divine Generals and Divine Strategists, the Fate Merchant, and the four townships that appear later are all part of it!
Here is another small spoiler: items like the Yellow Dragon Divine Token number five in the mortal realm of the Divine Land, and another five in the underworld!
As for the Fate Merchant, to be honest, I even want to keep simplifying and upgrading his rank, allowing the protagonist to purchase more things. By tempting him with Fate Coins, the merchant can drive him to work harder to gather the world’s fortune and prestige in exchange for those coins! This is truly not some outrageous fantasy. He is a merchant, and if there is a merchant, then he must have a master, right? Everyone knows who could possibly be his master in this world. But what is that master like? Is he powerful? And are there others with masters that formidable?……
Finally, regarding the protagonist’s True Dragon Village: many readers want me to change the name. In fact, I did not want to use it at the time either. I wanted to call it Dragon Abyss, from the phrase “the dragon rises from the abyss.” But after a bout of foolish overthinking, I impulsively used the name True Dragon instead. The external territory established beyond Yinglong Valley was then named Dragon Abyss City!
That has led to endless complaints from everyone, but fair enough. Once the dragon vein of Yinglong Valley is activated, I will change the names True Dragon Village and True Dragon Territory. As for what the new names should be, feel free to offer suggestions. I plan to create a thread in the book review section and pin it at the top. The thread starter will be wonderlst.
Yes, I have always wanted to change that nickname, but it costs ten thousand Qidian coins. I looked at the money in my pocket, thought it over, and decided to leave it alone. Please forgive me!
Everyone can reply to the thread with suggestions, including the names of affiliated territories, the dynastic name, the ranking title, the divine title, the titles of Marquis of the Pavilion, Marquis of the County, Marquis of the Commandery, and Prince, as well as the Ten Greatest Divine Generals and Ten Greatest Divine Strategists of the Three Kingdoms. You can also suggest the protagonist’s exclusive weapon, exclusive troop type, mount, and so on. If any of your ideas are better than mine, I may revise the story accordingly!
Finally—yes, the usual routine—thank you all for your support! Please give me recommendation votes, bookmarks, anything at all! Thank you~~~~
