As a series of explosions from airships erupted downstairs, Tony Stark immediately snapped back to attention.

Just moments ago, over a dozen missiles had flown past him in rapid succession, and even clad in his Iron Man suit, he couldn’t help but feel a chill run down his spine.

Fortunately, these missiles didn’t detonate in explosions upon hitting their targets. Instead, they unleashed blobs of adhesive slime that immobilized the enemies, allowing him to breathe a slight sigh of relief.

Yet despite this, his sense of shock remained undiminished.

“Jarvis... just now?!”

Hearing the hesitation and inquiry in Stark’s voice, Jarvis, his intelligent AI butler with a comprehensive database tracking his owner’s behavioral patterns, immediately grasped what Tony was asking.

Inside the Iron Man helmet, a virtual reticle locked onto the “pencil case” in Luca’s hand, bringing forth a flood of data.

At the same time, Jarvis’s voice system responded with an answer.

“Sir, there is currently no matching weapon source in the database. System analysis indicates it is a miniature handheld missile launcher. It features intelligent targeting and fires missiles filled with a highly adhesive polymer, highly effective at restraining opponents.”

“However, the missile’s flight speed is relatively slow. At medium ranges or beyond, the Mark armor has a 98.4% probability of intercepting all projectiles. Overall analysis rates the threat to you as low.”

Tony, rising to his feet, felt a twinge of embarrassment at his earlier startled reaction, and yet there was still a lingering haze clouding his mind.

“So just now...”

He meant to say that when he first fell before this mother and son, the so-called “mini missile launcher” was already aimed directly at his face—not even medium range. Moreover, the Mark armor’s scanning function had some degree of penetration and should have detected the threat before the “pencil case” unfolded.

Why then had Jarvis not warned him of the danger?

Before he could finish speaking, Jarvis anticipated the question and offered a reminder.

“Sir, your action of manually opening the helmet interrupted the system’s analysis.”

Tony’s face flushed at this revelation; it was his own mistake that had caused the embarrassment.

Still, he maintained his stubbornness.

“No big deal! Jarvis, add an external obstacle-clearing function to the armor’s self-cleaning system from now on!”

“Understood, sir!”

With Jarvis’s confirmation, Tony was about to caution the mother and son to be more careful before quickly departing, knowing the fierce battle outside was still ongoing.

Compared to saving face, resolving the current crisis and rescuing more civilians was far more important.

Before he could even speak, the boy who had just retracted the “pencil case” suddenly accelerated, moving at an incredible speed past Tony as he dashed toward the hole in the wall.

Though the boy sprinted swiftly, he was still well within the visual scanning range of the Iron Man suit.

Tony turned to look and immediately noticed that as the boy reached a soccer ball near the hole, he abruptly “braked” and stopped.

At the same time, he raised his right leg high, stretching out like an eagle in flight, eyes fixed intently on the distance.

In the direction he was staring, a Leviathan alien warship a hundred meters long was looming, its colossal form slowly advancing toward the building.

Soldiers of the Chitauri kept leaping out from the Leviathan’s hull, rapidly descending toward the ground.

‘What’s he planning?’

“Beep beep beep, warning! Warning! High-energy reaction detected!”

“Scan results: unknown electrical power module! Memory alloy with metallic muscle fibers! Magnetorheological fluid shock absorption layer! Carbon nanotube fiber reinforcement...”

Data streaked rapidly across the helmet’s visor, accompanied by Jarvis’s incessant warning alerts.

Yet Tony’s full attention was riveted on the boy raising his leg.

Suddenly, a burst of electric arcs exploded around the boy’s right foot, with faint multicolored light flickering across the shoe’s surface.

The next moment, Luca delivered a powerful kick to the soccer ball in front of him.

In the Mark armor’s slow-motion view, the entire ball distorted and changed shape.

The air around the ball compressed with a tremendous sonic boom.

With the release of this terrifying force, the soccer ball shot forward like a flaming meteor.

A strong shockwave whipped up a cloud of debris and dust, rolling ahead.

The ball’s surface glowed with an orange halo from friction with the air, trailing a comet-like tail of flames.

A series of sonic booms exploded along its path.

Glass facades of nearby skyscrapers shattered from the shockwave.

“Boom—”

With a thunderous crash, the flaming soccer ball slammed solidly into the Leviathan warship.

The bioweapon ship emitted a pained wail.

Under the unparalleled force of impact, the metal armor on the ship’s exterior exploded in a massive burst.

The entire ship staggered uncontrollably backward in mid-air.

“...Unknown external material reinforcement technology, unknown targeting system, unknown...”

Jarvis’s analysis continued.

But Tony stood rooted to the spot, swallowing hard.

“Olé!”

A roar shattered Tony’s daze.

Although Luca’s spectacular violent soccer strike was impressive and powerful, compared to the Leviathan’s immense size, it was still somewhat insufficient.

Regaining its balance, the Leviathan beast charged straight toward the building at an even faster speed than before.

With no time to think, Tony activated the Mark armor and shot forward like a meteor.

Fortunately, Luca’s earlier hit had already shattered part of the Leviathan’s armor, sparing Stark from having to break through the defenses himself.

A wrist missile launched swiftly, striking the exposed muscular tissue of the bioweapon ship.

“Boom—”

Another violent explosion erupted.

A large hole immediately tore open on the Leviathan’s body.

Wailing, it staggered and crashed to the groundI'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
