"Damn it! My house!"

Originally, Lucas had anticipated that since people were attacking his home, the house would inevitably suffer some damage. However, he never imagined these bastards would start firing wildly at the entire villa without even catching a glimpse of him.

Fortunately, Shamira had followed his advice and hadn't shown herself immediately; otherwise, she would likely have been suppressed by this hail of bullets. Of course, even though there was no immediate danger, Lucas had no intention of just letting this slide.

'These bastards made me lose money, so you all can lose your lives!'

"Dabai! Throw the tree! The group of intruders on the south side!"

At Lucas's command, the red light in Dabai's eyes flickered once more.

"Understood! Throwing tree!" (✪—✪)

The redwood tree that Dabai had punched to pieces earlier still had its upper trunk lying in the yard, waiting to be cleared. Dabai quickly stooped down, wrapped his arms around the massive trunk, and drove his fingers in with a sudden surge of force. All eight fingers, reinforced with gauntlets, sank deep into the wood.

Following this, the cameras in Dabai's eyes scanned the main entrance on the south side of the villa, where four men were approaching while firing. A 'beep-beep-beep' alarm sounded within the system, and in an instant, all four members of the squad were precisely locked on.

The next moment, Dabai, his feet buried into the ground, exerted sudden, immense force. The massive redwood trunk was hurled high into the air.

"BOOM—"

A deafening, earth-shaking crash erupted as the weight slammed into the ground. The very earth around the villa seemed to tremble violently. Even Lucas, down in the basement, felt as though dust was being shaken from the ceiling. The massive vibration brought a momentary silence to the battlefield.

However, Lucas, who was monitoring the situation through the surveillance system, noticed that the trunk Dabai had thrown had missed the four intruders on the south side by a hair's breadth.

'Did I miscalculate the force?' Lucas wondered briefly.

In reality, it made little difference. Because the trunk landed so close, all four intruders were knocked to the ground by the sheer impact, and three of them even had their weapons jarred from their hands.

"Dabai, those four aren't out of the fight yet. Go finish them off."

"Understood!" (✪—✪)

Receiving the order, Dabai leapt over the tree and landed right in front of the four men. Then came four successive punches—*thud, thud, thud, thud*. Those four, who hadn't even managed to regain their footing, were put to sleep instantly.

By now, half the enemy force had been wiped out. Watching the intruders on the north side reloading their magazines, Lucas shook his head in disdain.

'They don't even have the basic concept of covering fire? These people are way too amateur.'

They had started out with a decent-looking pincer movement, but the moment Dabai made his move, they had descended into chaotic, aimless firing. Not to mention the poor fellows on the west side who were taken out instantly, those on the north side had emptied their entire magazines without even seeing a target.

'If these are really Kingpin’s men as I suspected, then these gangsters are truly beyond saving.'

His internal monologue didn't slow Lucas down. The moment he noticed the idiots were all reloading at the same time, he issued an order to Shamira, who had been waiting and growing impatient.

"North side, back door. Four idiots are reloading. Two are behind the Pixiu statues, and the other two are moving toward the villa."

In fact, before Lucas had even finished the first few words, the eager Shamira had already bolted from the basement stairwell like a cheetah. She didn't even leave the house before her submachine gun was already aimed. Through the already shattered floor-to-ceiling window:

"Rat-tat-tat-tat~"

With a series of rapid shots, the two leading intruders were dropped instantly. The two in the back, who were still reloading, tried to shrink back behind the statues for cover. But Shamira didn't hesitate; she covered several meters in just a few strides. She leaned back, slid forward on her knees, and skidded right between the two statues at the back door.

Pistol in her left hand, submachine gun in her right.

"Rat-tat-tat~"

A few more gunshots rang out.

The last two men on the north side were struck by multiple bullets in the forehead and chest, falling dead to the ground. After neutralizing these two, Shamira rolled and stood up quickly. The villa's lights had flickered back on. Tucking her pistol away, she pressed her earpiece and asked rapidly, "What about the four on the east side?"

"Dabai is already handling them," Lucas said through the earpiece.

Hearing this, Shamira immediately moved toward the east garden. She arrived just in time to see Dabai wave his hand, sending an intruder flying high into the air. The unlucky fellow happened to get snagged in a tree on the left side of the garden, left to struggle and wail.

Then, Dabai gave a gentle push, and the final enemy screamed in terror as he was sent flying over the villa fence. Whether it was because the push was too light or the man was just lucky, he stumbled to his feet after crashing into the fence and scrambled away into the distance without looking back.

Shamira raised her submachine gun, ready to finish off the "escaped fish." But before she could aim and fire, an arm reached out and gently pushed her barrel down.

"Aunt Shamira, I let him go on purpose. I had Dabai plant a tracker on him."

Indeed, during that light push, the tracker Lucas had hidden inside Dabai’s helmet before the fight had been silently attached to the man. Lucas took the submachine gun from Shamira and fired a few rounds into the empty air, scaring the man into running even faster, before handing the weapon back.

"Young Master, what do we do now?" Shamira asked softly.

Perhaps because Lucas had been in command the whole time, or perhaps because it was so easy to neutralize a dozen intruders, Shamira had unconsciously begun to look to Lucas for leadership in these matters, waiting for his instructions.

Watching the "survivor" disappear into the night, Lucas fired one last shot to finish off the intruder still hanging in the tree, then said quietly:

"Go get the car. We're following him!"
