Planning to take advantage of the fine weather for a stroll, Lin Feng felt as if something was subtly drawing him in. Following this faint, elusive sensation, he wandered around and soon spotted Tinali crouching beside the Seven Gods’ statue, picking mushrooms...

“May I touch the Seven Gods’ statue?” Lin Feng asked, glancing at Tinali, who was engrossed in studying the mushrooms beside him.

“But touching the statue doesn’t do anything special,” he explained. “Though legends say the statue reveals the world’s truth, the Archon’s years of research show the statue itself holds no special power.”

“The most notable feature is that it’s hard to clean because it’s rich in elemental energy,” Tinali added, shaking his head, clearly bothered by this fact.

“I see,” Lin Feng said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. Still, he stepped forward and placed his hand on the statue...

Nothing happened.

As expected... not everyone can gain elemental energy just by touching the statue like the Traveler does in the game.

Lin Feng was about to give up but suddenly recalled that in the game, when the Traveler switches elements, the text reads “Resonating with the X element,” not simply approaching or touching the statue.

Stepping away from the statue, Tinali felt relieved.

The elemental force was so dense that a visible green band of light formed around Lin Feng, momentarily giving Tinali a sense of awe akin to gazing upon a deity.

From this vantage, he saw green light points converging not only from around him but also from the grass, forests, and even the earth and sky, forming a river of green light as if from a dream.

Countless elements seemed eager to express their closeness to Lin Feng, rushing to gather by his side.

Elemental affinity level six? Could it be this absurd? Lin Feng doubted internally.

Xiaobai, who had been perched on Lin Feng’s shoulder, yawned.
