Lin Feng was awakened by hunger.

Somewhat tired, Lin Feng hid from the rain while contemplating his next move.

According to information from Lan Luomo, the humans it had seen before should be nearby. Lin Feng decided to slow his pace and have Little White scout around him.

He worried about being spotted first and attacked by enemies.

Not because he feared for himself, but because Little White, unable to control its power, might accidentally annihilate the enemies, making his goal of leaving the forest even more distant.

Though he had considered sending Little White ahead to find human bases nearby, the little creature, full from eating, seemed unwilling to stray far from Lin Feng.
