"What??"

In the lounge behind the arena, an incredulous, garbled string of foreign gibberish erupted: "I graced this dumpy little place with my presence, and I even asked him to come see me, and he said 'No'?!"

The agent pressed his ear to the door, listening intently. He thought the foreign tongue sounded like French, though he didn't speak a word of it. Finally catching the word "No," he knocked politely to correct the situation. "No, no, he said 'get lost'."

Silence fell inside for a few seconds. It seemed the translator had relayed the original words to Mars.

Mars exploded.

He kicked the door open with a crash and asked the agent in broken Chinese, "Where is he?! Take me to him!!!"

The agent stared at the young man before him, stunned. Or perhaps, a teenager? He had imagined someone typical of middle age, so he never expected a silver-haired, gray-eyed kid who looked barely of age. Or perhaps he wasn't young, just incredibly immature.

Mars stormed toward the arena, grumbling in Chinese, "What kind of blue-haired brat, damn it."

"..."

The agent hurried to catch up. Who on earth was this kid???

Mars and his entourage barged into the arena just in time to see the tall, lean man on stage finishing a dance routine with a final pose.

"Holy cow." Mars whispered to the translator, "He's so handsome."

The translator replied, "He says he's your daddy, and that he has a master of his own."

Mars’s face turned hideous. He pointed at the man on stage and beckoned with his finger, "You, jump!"

Zhou Yili casually brushed off his collar, took two steps forward, and glared at the little foreigner. He also beckoned with his finger, "You, jump, and I’ll jump too."

The agent felt his vision go black as he listened to a Chinese man and a Frenchman engage in a conversation using broken English. Being young, Mars skeptically let his subordinates hoist him onto the stage. But before he could even brush off the dust or stand steady, Zhou Yili shoved him back down with a single slap.

"Jump my foot. Did I tell you to come up here?"

Mars was caught by his flustered subordinates. Facing Zhou Yili’s condescending gaze, his gray eyes sparked with rage. "You, you, you..."

Zhou Yili told him to get lost immediately. He didn't care about his intentions; there was no room for negotiation. Even as the agent frantically gestured at him—*He looks so gullible, are you planning to go on stage naked, you ancestor?*—Zhou Yili sneered.

"Naked? Aside from being naked in front of Shen Jixing..." Forget it, there were too many people; if he said that, he’d end up on the trending topics and get scolded by Shen Jixing. "I have a villa in the suburbs," Zhou Yili said, dismissing the agent’s concerns. "I use it as a walk-in closet."

The agent: "..." Sometimes he really wanted to fight these rich people.

When Mars heard the name Shen Jixing, he seemed to have caught a keyword. Amidst Zhou Yili’s arrogant glare, he became exasperated. "You just wait!"

"I'm waiting."

"I'm going to tell on you to my brother!"

"Hold on... wait, your brother???"

Mars’s translator kindly clarified, "Mars is from France; his full name is Mars Herbert."

Zhou Yili suddenly recalled the name. It was the family that had once adopted Shen Jixing. "You hold on right there!" Zhou Yili jumped off the stage, watching him with cautious suspicion. "Shen Jixing adopted you as his little brother?" He remembered that Shen Jixing treated that couple with great respect, occasionally mailing them calligraphy or paintings that the elder Mr. Herbert was searching for.

Mars’s eyes darted around. "Yeah, that's right."

Unexpectedly, Zhou Yili stepped forward and kicked him. "You even dare to covet your brother’s husband? Today, I’ll teach you how to behave on your brother’s behalf."

Zhou Yili instantly transformed into a helpful citizen, ready to "prune" him.

Mars’s expression shifted. He quickly shouted for his subordinates to protect him and, playing it safe, scrambled away while yelling, "Brother-in-law! Brother-in-law!"

"..."

In the lounge, the agent poured them both tea, knowing this negotiation would inevitably happen.

"I have one condition," Mars said, watching his ill-tempered brother-in-law cautiously. "Listen first."

Zhou Yili clearly had a high tolerance for anyone related to Shen Jixing. "Speak."

Mars looked at the translator, and under the translator’s nod of encouragement, he boldly stated: "My brother hasn't replied to my emails in three months. Can you make him come see me?"

"..."

The agent, having finished pouring the tea, wanted to drown himself in it. The world was just one giant circle of Shen Jixing fanboys.

Zhou Yili remained calm, slowly picking up his tea and blowing on it. "Little brother, it’s not that I don't want to agree to your request, but if Shen Jixing hasn't replied to you for three months and I drag him over here to meet you, do you know what the consequences will be?"

Mars didn't understand. "What?"

Zhou Yili sipped his tea elegantly. "I'll be the one sending emails with you for the next three months."

"..."

Mars looked back at the translator, who helplessly spread his hands. Mars hadn't expected that even with Zhou Yili's help, he still couldn't find him. What was the point of this husband, anyway?

He broke down, standing up with a crash. His gray eyes turned red as he glared at Zhou Yili. "You aren't my brother-in-law at all! You're a liar!"

Zhou Yili raised his eyes coldly. "What did you say?"

Having been spoiled since childhood, Mars wasn't afraid, even in the face of Zhou Yili’s terrifying gaze. He trembled with fury and shouted, "You... you nagging wife, you homemaker!!!"
