Chapter 015: Angry Birds
Li Huan possessed considerable strength, and had deliberately locked Sun Xiao’s joints, causing Sun Xiao’s arm to lose all power. Forced to use his other hand, Sun Xiao swung a fist at Li Huan’s face.
This time, Li Huan gave him no chance. With a flick of his wrist, he twisted Sun Xiao’s arm behind his back, grabbed his collar, hauled him up, and pulled him close. His voice was icy: “I told you to stay out of my business. And stop acting like you’re some big shot in front of me—no one here is a coward. I’m just an outsider who’s seen little of the world, but you should remember one thing: those with nothing to lose aren’t afraid of those with something to lose. Think about that.”
With those words, Li Huan shoved Sun Xiao away, dusted off his hands, picked up his laptop, and walked out. The crowd that had gathered quickly scattered, making way for him. Sun Xiao, pushed hard, landed heavily on the floor. For a long moment, he was stunned, his eyes wide with surprise—he hadn’t expected Li Huan to dare defy him.
Wang Lin, standing nearby, frowned slightly and glanced at Sun Xiao, disappointed by his aggressive behavior. She also overlooked the fact that Li Huan had just put Sun Xiao in his place. “Sun Xiao, how could you raise your hand? Li Huan is our classmate... I’m really disappointed in you!”
With that, Wang Lin strode off after Li Huan, leaving Sun Xiao sitting alone on the floor. He slammed his fist into the ground, cursing furiously, “Damn it, Li Huan, I’ll ruin you... What are you all staring at? Get lost!”
The rest of the onlookers hurriedly dispersed, but two men who looked like security guards approached. Seeing Sun Xiao get up, they stepped forward. “Someone reported a fight here. Was it you? Come with us to the security room and explain yourself.”
Exiting the electronics mall, Li Huan was about to head to the bus stop when Wang Lin caught up to him. “Li Huan, wait a minute!”
Li Huan’s body tensed, but he turned around after a moment’s hesitation. “Wang Lin, is there something else?”
“I...” Wang Lin suddenly didn’t know what to say. She hadn’t thought much before chasing after him, but seeing Li Huan’s calm gaze made her feel at a loss. “I wanted to tell you, you haven’t come in since last month. There’s a seminar next week, and the department requires all seniors to attend. I sent you the materials by email—look them over when you get home.”
Li Huan vaguely recalled a classmate mentioning this on the phone before, but hadn’t paid much attention. He hadn’t expected Wang Lin to send him an email, which left him conflicted. After recent experiences, he understood certain gaps between people. He had never looked down on himself, nor did he believe mere stubbornness could uphold his dignity. Such things had to be won by oneself.
After bidding Wang Lin farewell, Li Huan boarded the bus and returned to his lodgings. He felt little burden, even though he’d completely offended Sun Xiao, the privileged son. Compared to the trouble he’d stirred up yesterday, this seemed trivial. He was already planning to leave anyway; adding Sun Xiao to the list didn’t matter, especially since Sun Xiao had already tried to screw him over once.
As for Wang Lin, Li Huan no longer had any feelings. They were from entirely different worlds; he had once liked her so much, but now, he wasn’t even sure if she still had a place in his heart.
Thinking through all this on the way home, Li Huan found his mood wasn’t as bad as he’d imagined. He wasn’t someone who feared trouble, but away from home, he always maintained a certain respect for society. Yet, once someone bullied him directly, there was no need to play the fool. Besides, that chubby fellow known as “Brother Dog” wasn’t someone to trifle with. Having offended him, Li Huan had no intention of staying and waiting to be crippled.
He packed up two meals at a fast-food joint, one for himself and the other as a token of thanks to Su Dieyi for changing his door lock. Though he couldn’t fathom why Su Dieyi had called him “shameless” that morning, he wasn’t petty enough to quarrel with a girl over such things—especially when she was a beauty. As the saying goes, all beauties have tempers!
But the moment he opened the door, Li Huan was stunned. The scene in the living room made his eyes widen, a restless heat surging through his body.
The not-so-spacious living room was thick with an ambiguous atmosphere. On the somewhat worn sofa, two women’s bodies were intertwined, one above and one below. Their backs were to the door, so Li Huan couldn’t see the face of the woman squatting on top, but from her back, through her armpit, he could glimpse the curves of her full chest, swelling impressively on either side. The sheer scale left him unable to imagine just how spectacular it might be!
She wore only a tight, black camisole, stretched taut by her slight baby fat, and between her waist and hips, a patch of fair skin was exposed, dazzling Li Huan to the point he could hardly keep his eyes open.
Lower down, the scene was even less suitable for children. The girl below wore only a super-short skirt, barely covering her bottom, but as she was half-lying atop another girl, her upper body leaned forward, her plump little bottom tilted up. The skimpy skirt had ridden up past her hips, revealing cute pink underwear, decorated with an angry bird motif!
Li Huan dared not look further. Even a casual glance had sent his blood boiling, a strange heat gathering in his abdomen. “Little Huan Huan” instantly sprang to attention, and the intense pressure beneath his trousers was nearly unbearable. He wished he could quickly strip, lest “Little Huan Huan” suffer damage.
Of course, Li Huan hadn’t sunk so low; after all, there were two girls in the living room. He contemplated retreating quietly to his room, but Su Dieyi had already sensed something. She suddenly lifted her head and saw Li Huan standing in the doorway.
“Ah... how did you get in?” Su Dieyi shoved the girl sitting atop her off, prompting a cry of pain as the other tumbled from the sofa. But Su Dieyi ignored her friend, sitting up in a panic, her face flushed crimson.
“I have a key...” Li Huan felt embarrassed, quickly raising the takeout boxes to shield himself, hiding the tent beneath his clothes from the girls’ view.
“Hey, you made me fall on my butt—it hurts!” The girl called Piggy wrinkled her beautiful brows, pushing herself upright and spreading her legs rather unladylike.
Li Huan couldn’t help but glance, seeing between her shapely thighs a pair of pink underwear, emblazoned with a green pig’s head in a helmet, complete with two sharp tusks—a sight utterly devoid of beauty. The image sent a shiver through him; instead of the expected scene, he was startled by the fierce green pig, making him quickly shut his eyes.
“Piggy, get up quickly, don’t let him steal a look!” Su Dieyi was clearly suspicious of Li Huan’s character, dragging Piggy up onto the sofa and covering her legs with a sheet.
“Hmph, let him try—I’ll scare him to death!” Piggy pouted, looking at Li Huan with triumph and demanding, “Li Huan, tell me, what did you see just now? I’m a pure little girl—if you saw, you have to take responsibility!”
Li Huan uttered a surprised sound, opened his eyes, and stared at Piggy’s face, frowning in disbelief. He walked over, pinched her cheeks, and looked her over carefully before finally confirming he wasn’t mistaken. “Zhu Zhu? How is it you? How did you know I live here?”
“Pfft, how could I not know? Little Su Su was told by me—” Piggy’s words were abruptly cut off by Su Dieyi, who pressed her hand over Piggy’s mouth, stifling her speech with muffled sounds.
“Piggy, stop talking nonsense!” Su Dieyi glared at Piggy, then turned to Li Huan. “Didn’t you go out? Why are you back?”
Li Huan felt a little depressed—this apartment was rented by him, after all. Why shouldn’t he come back? But after witnessing an inappropriate scene, he felt guilty. “I went to buy a laptop; my computer burned out yesterday... What were you doing just now?”
Li Huan instantly regretted asking this; he’d only asked out of embarrassment, but realized immediately how much more awkward it was. Even a fool could see what they were doing from that scene.
Thinking about it, Li Huan glanced at Su Dieyi, surprised that such a beautiful girl would...
“Li Huan, what are you thinking? I was helping Little Su Su with her bust—didn’t you see me massaging her chest?” Piggy shot Li Huan a contemptuous look, easily picturing the lewd images in his mind.
Su Dieyi’s fair face flushed deep red; she was too exhausted to even argue with her thick-skinned friend.
“I didn’t think anything, and didn’t see what you were doing—just saw an angry bird, that’s all!” Li Huan placed the two takeout meals before them, realizing he’d need to buy another for himself.
