"Get to the point!" Li Huan snapped at Xiaoyu, shooting him a glare. Was this really the time for this guy to be commenting on a girl's chest?

"Oh! That girl, she looks all innocent, but she's actually a real fox, specializing in seducing guys like Gang who aren’t exactly the brightest..." Xiaoyu was getting into the story, but when he saw Li Huan’s look, he quickly shifted focus. "So, Gang got together with her. It’s been about a week, just these past two days they officially became a thing. I heard from Gang that they’ve already gotten a room together, but the girl wasn’t a virgin. Gang totally got played!"

"After that, things got simple. Gang’s never been in love before, so he was over the moon, handed her his bank card. Later the girl told him her family owed money, and if he wanted to keep seeing her, he had to pay it off first. Gang didn't have that much cash, so he wrote her an IOU. He was still happy about it, but before long, she’d hooked up with the guy who witnessed the IOU. Gang went to get his card back, only to find it had been maxed out!"

"How much was the IOU?" Li Huan was fuming after hearing the story. That woman was shameless—she’d taken Gang’s first time and scammed him out of his money as well.

"No idea, Gang won’t say." Xiaoyu’s usually bright face clouded with anger, though on him it only made him look more adorable than threatening.

"She’s definitely a professional con artist, working with that guy to scam Gang," Li Huan concluded. These days, there were countless groups specializing in seducing men for money, using sex as bait. Anyone with a hint of caution wouldn’t fall for it, but Gang had been led to the slaughter like a fattened pig.

"So what do we do?" Xiaoyu had likely heard about these kinds of scams. With an IOU in their hands, those people wouldn't just let it go.

Li Huan frowned, reaching out to pat Gang’s face. Gang grunted, waving a hand in front of his nose, but showed no sign of waking up. Li Huan almost laughed in exasperation—this guy could still sleep through all this? He couldn’t help but use a bit more force, delivering a firm slap to Gang’s cheek. "Wake up!"

Gang shot upright, muttered something unintelligible, then slumped back onto the sofa. He looked at Li Huan and said, "Did—you just slap me?"

Li Huan nodded, his expression dead serious. Gang let out a goofy laugh, waving his hand. "Good. If it had been Xiaoyu, I’d have had to get him back!"

Hearing this, Xiaoyu shrank away, crossing his arms over his chest, putting on a pitiful, wounded look.

"Out with it—how much do you owe them?" Li Huan refused to let him dodge the question. Sometimes Gang was smart; other times, he just played dumb.

Gang tried to wriggle out of it, but Li Huan’s expression made it clear he wouldn’t get away with it. Swaying upright, he hung his head and muttered, "A hundred thousand."

Li Huan couldn’t help but suck in a breath. Was this guy made of money? The woman didn’t even marry you and you wrote her an IOU for a hundred thousand? Did you grow up on pig brains?

"I don’t know what to say to you. Anyway, you can’t give them the money. This is obviously a scam. We’ll call the police right now." Li Huan pulled out his phone, ready to dial.

"Li Huan, don’t call the police!" Gang lunged over, snatching the phone. "Yumei is pitiful too, and we’ve already slept together. I can’t let her go to jail!"

Li Huan was furious—was this guy under some kind of spell? Was any woman worth losing his head over like this? But Li Huan knew Gang’s stubbornness; once he dug his heels in, nothing could move him. Seeing him like this, Li Huan couldn’t bring himself to make the call.

"I’ll just accept it!" Gang suddenly puffed out his chest, full of tragic bravado.

"Accept, my ass! What about your family? Is your mother supposed to go without medicine? Are you going to steal or rob people for the money?" Li Huan smacked Gang on the forehead, hoping to knock some sense into him.

Perhaps the slap worked. Gang froze, finally coming to his senses. He clutched his head and started bawling like a woman.

"We have to get the money back—and the IOU! If you won’t let me call the police, then tomorrow we’ll go deal with them ourselves!" Li Huan gritted his teeth. No one bullies his brother and gets away with it.

He knew Gang’s situation—an old mother at home, a younger sister juggling school and caretaking duties. Last time, she’d come to Zhonghai and treated Li Huan like a son, leaving him deeply grateful. Gang had been working at the bar for years, earning enough for his mother’s medical bills and his sister’s tuition, and had even managed to save up, planning to buy a home and bring his family to the city. Now, all those hopes were ruined!

"Look at yourself. Xiaoyu, keep an eye on him," Li Huan instructed, then went to the lounge to make a call.

"Li Huan, what’s up?" came Sun Feifei’s lazy voice, sounding half-asleep.

"Brother Gang’s not feeling well. Xiaoyu and I will take him home. Just letting you know." Lots of people had seen Gang drunk tonight. As a supervisor, if anyone wanted to use this against him, he’d be finished here. That’s why Li Huan called Sun Feifei.

"Okay, go ahead. I’ll call Manager Zhang… Is he alright?" Sun Feifei, being Gang’s old classmate, asked out of concern.

"I’ll tell you later. It’s complicated," Li Huan replied. Some things were best left unsaid; Gang would never live it down if she found out.

After hanging up, Li Huan beckoned Xiaoyu over. The two of them half-dragged, half-carried Gang out of Dancing with Wolves, caught a cab to his neighborhood, and found a street-side barbecue joint. They ordered some grilled food and beer and drank in silence.

Gang was already plastered; a few more beers and he passed out on the table. Xiaoyu, despite his delicate looks, could really hold his liquor; he and Li Huan finished off the rest of the beer, both stumbling as they hauled Gang back to his apartment.

If there were such a thing as a hangover cure, Li Huan swore he’d never let himself get drunk just because his buddy was in a bad mood. Because when he woke up the next day, he saw a sight he wished he could forget forever.

Three men lay naked on the floor, with a pool of some half-solid, unidentifiable substance nearby. Li Huan had it relatively easy—he’d just spent the night face-down on the floor. Aside from his little brother being a bit squashed and some enormous, foul-smelling foot on his rear, he’d emerged unscathed.

But Xiaoyu wasn’t so lucky. From Li Huan’s angle, he could see Gang’s bare body sprawled half across Xiaoyu’s back, one arm slung over Xiaoyu’s slim waist, the other gripping Xiaoyu’s soft, pale backside and giving it the occasional squeeze.

Xiaoyu’s face was a picture of mingled pain and pleasure, almost seductive. His rear was pressed tightly against Gang’s hip, their bodies intimately entwined. As for what was going on out of sight—Li Huan didn’t dare to check.

Suppressing his curiosity, Li Huan refrained from pulling the two apart, afraid of seeing something he shouldn’t. Instead, he got up, dressed, cleaned up the mysterious mess, and left the two naked men to their fate while he took a hot shower.

As soon as Li Huan opened the bathroom door, a blood-curdling scream erupted from the living room. Gang finally woke up, took one look at himself and Xiaoyu, and began frantically searching for his underwear.

"You pervert! You creep! Scum! Beast! I’ll bite you to death!" Xiaoyu’s aggrieved voice rang out as he chased Gang around the living room, clutching his backside. Li Huan slipped into the kitchen, wanting no part of it, and started making breakfast.

At breakfast, Xiaoyu shot Gang a resentful glare, chewing his omelet fiercely as if gnawing Gang’s bones. Gang didn’t dare look up.

As for whether the two of them had done anything truly earth-shattering the night before, Li Huan claimed ignorance. Only they could know for sure. Though he was dying to ask, in the end, he held his tongue.

After breakfast, Xiaoyu disappeared into the bathroom for over half an hour. Gang, desperate to pee, paced the living room clutching his belly. When Xiaoyu finally emerged, Gang rushed over, complaining, "Were you washing your ass in there? What took so long?"

Xiaoyu had finally calmed down, but at Gang’s words, his face turned green. He grabbed Gang’s belt and said, "Tell me—what did you do to me last night? If you don’t, I won’t let you use the bathroom!"

"I—I didn’t do anything! I swear I’m innocent!" Gang shouted, but his effort backfired—he suddenly felt something warm and wet, as if he’d lost control.

"Fine! I’ll believe you this time. But if you ever do that again, I’ll never forgive you!" Xiaoyu pouted, looking utterly aggrieved.

"Damn it! You made me pee my pants!" Gang shook off Xiaoyu’s hand and hurried toward the bathroom, but his bladder finally gave way. He tried to stop it with his hand, but it was already too late...
