Volume One, Chapter 136: Brother Lin, Are You Really This Bold When Pursuing Someone?

Ye Sheng originally thought she would be too excited to fall asleep.

However, she did not.

Ye Sheng's heart thumped wildly, and her mind instantly went to what happened last night.

Could her brother's sudden return be because of her and Brother Lin?

As she was thinking this, Huo Lindong appeared at the doorway. He had also just finished washing up and hadn't changed his clothes yet.

"Brother Lin," Ye Sheng hurriedly called out.

Huo Lindong acknowledged her and said to Wan Sandao, "Hurry up and go, or you'll miss him."

While having breakfast, Ye Sheng asked Huo Lindong, "Is my brother coming back this time because of me?"

"It's probably because of me."

Huo Lindong looked at Ye Sheng. "Chances are he wants to come back and beat me up, or give me a thorough warning."

Ye Sheng twitched the corners of her mouth. "Surely it won't come to that."

They weren't even together yet; Brother Lin had only said he wanted to pursue her.

The little expression she made when twisting her mouth looked exactly like Huo Xiaobei. Huo Lindong smiled, glanced at his son, and paused slightly.

"I'll call Brother San in a while and tell him to bring my brother straight to my place after picking him up."

Ye Sheng said, "I want to talk to him first."
