A new week has arrived, and I hope this book brings you fresh joy. I also hope you will support it with your votes and bookmarks.

"Xiao Xue, Qianqian, hold Murong Longcheng off. Tu Shao, Ri Wan, ignore him—charge forward and secure the loot," Wu Hua commanded while adjusting his sniper scope toward the foot of the mountain opposite him.

The crosshairs quickly locked onto a gunman sprinting with an M16 rifle.

"Bang!"

"-7230!"

The gunman running through the grass hit an invisible wall, dropping his weapon instantly as a fountain of crimson blood erupted from his chest.

Those behind him were fearless, rushing toward the center of the prairie like madmen. To them, equipment was far more important than life—what if it was a divine artifact?

"Bang!"

"-7007!"

This AK gunman was struck in the lower abdomen and dropped to his knees with a thud. The sniper on the mountain peak was truly deadly from a thousand meters away; one shot, one kill.

"Clatter-clatter-clatter!" Yu Jialing’s Type 95 finally opened fire. No matter how fast Murong Longcheng was, he couldn't dodge this time. Domestic equipment with purple-tier quality was no joke; each bullet claimed 1800 of his HP, and the pain was excruciating.

"Cover me!" Murong Longcheng roared, charging toward Yu Jialing.

This was the first time Wu Hua had truly witnessed Yu Jialing’s real skill. Countless AK and M16 bullets rained down upon her.

Unflustered, Yu Jialing threw herself to the ground and began rolling through the grass, returning fire with one hand while the Type 95 rifle sprayed bullets in a circle.

"Puff, puff, puff!" Dirt and grass flew everywhere where she had rolled, yet not a single bullet hit her. Conversely, a gunman opposite her took four consecutive shots to the chest, his body shuddering with every impact before he collapsed to the ground.

Seeing this, Wu Hua chuckled, "That move must be a skill. I need to learn that."

While Yu Jialing drew most of the fire, Tu Shao and Ri Wan finally closed the distance.

Murong Longcheng was out of options and had to turn back; he couldn't let them reach the loot.

"Hit the warrior!" Murong Longcheng bellowed.

The gunmen’s AKs and M16s erupted in fire. Tu Shao laughed as he charged, "Keep it up, boys! Grandpa Tu Shao’s defense is top-notch! Harder, harder, come on baby!" His greatest strength wasn't his gear, but his ability to enrage his opponents.

"Ding, ding, ding!" Tu Shao was like a robot, sparks flying off his armor.

The numbers floating above his head were mere "-5s." With 1000 defense from his Twelve-Element Alloy Armor, anything less than 2000 attack power was useless. Even if an occasional red-tier AK shot landed for "100 damage," Tu Shao’s nearly 80 points of strength specialization weren't just for show—his automatic health regeneration was 80 HP per second.

Attacking him was the most unwise move the Dragon City clan could make.

"Bang!" Another thunderous shot rang out from the mountain peak, and another player was sent back to the Federal General Affairs Hall to reflect on their life.

Murong Longcheng gritted his teeth. "Tu Shao, you bastard, you were the one who sabotaged me last time. Let's see how I handle you now." He raised his purple-tier alloy blade and charged.

After some time, Tu Shao had grown significantly in strength and equipment, especially with the green-tier Divine Light Sword gifted to him by Wu Hua.

Unaware of Tu Shao’s true depth, Murong Longcheng rushed forward with a heavy swing, shouting, "Taste the power of my Dragon-Subduing Eighteen Swords! Flying Dragon in the Sky!" He roared with impressive momentum, swinging his alloy blade in a circle.

Tu Shao didn't flinch, charging straight at him and throwing a kick.

"First form of the Grass-Mud-Horse Leg Technique: Flying Mud-Horse in the Sky!" Tu Shao yelled. His kick connected squarely with Murong Longcheng’s wrist, knocking the alloy blade out of his hand. He then swung the Divine Light Sword upward against Murong Longcheng’s ribs. The strike was highly technical: the blade grazed his chest, and with a flick of the wrist, the flat of the blade pressed against his pectoral muscles before he leveraged his 70+ strength specialization to send Murong Longcheng flying.

A shocking damage number appeared: "-710!"

For a warrior to deal that much damage with a single swing was terrifying.

What Murong Longcheng didn't realize was that Tu Shao and his companion excelled at teamwork. As soon as he was airborne, Ri Wan charged in, shrugging off the hail of bullets with his own kitchen knife. A warrior without sufficient agility specialization was at the mercy of gravity while in the air, and Ri Wan unleashed his "Pork-Butcher’s Eighteen Slashes."

The level 40 genetic warrior Murong Longcheng, lacking medicine, money, and gear, was completely helpless against two sub-level-30 chip warriors. Indeed, no matter how high one's martial arts, one still feared a kitchen knife.

After Ri Wan slashed away another 3000 HP, he kicked Murong Longcheng toward Tu Shao.

Tu Shao laughed heartily, "Second form of the Grass-Mud-Horse Leg Technique: Cheap Mud-Horse in the Field!" With a beautiful spinning kick, he sent Murong Longcheng flying again.

Murong Longcheng landed head-first on the ground. As he scrambled up, a handful of purple sand was thrown over him. His body went numb, and for the first time, he panicked. This sand was definitely a doctor’s "Energy Poison," and given the quality, it was surely a purple-tier item.

Checking his HP, he saw it dropping by 40 per second, an effect that would last for a full minute.

Murong Longcheng was furious and about to use his charge skill when a burst of bullets struck the back of his head, blood spraying from his neck. That volley finished him off.

The coordination had been seamless, leaving him no room to resist. Teamwork remained the most effective method.

Looking back, Wu Hua saw Yu Jialing reloading her Type 95.

"Domestic... beauty!" Murong Longcheng said before turning into a streak of white light.

His final words had Tu Shao and the others roaring with laughter—no one knew if he meant the domestic gun was good or the beauty was lethal!

By the time Murong Longcheng perished, there were few members of the Dragon City clan left. Tu Shao and Ri Wan stood atop the pile of loot, while the remaining MP5-wielding newbies stood there in a daze. Their guns were useless against the duo’s staggering defense. With their leader dead, the loot gone, and the sniper on the mountain silent, the newbies retreated in terror. Wu Hua smiled; he didn't want to make things difficult for these rookies—if they were to blame anyone, it was for following a trash leader.

The Queen Bee boss had dropped a unique haul: a pile of miscellaneous crystals, ranging from S to C rank, though not a single potion. There was one purple-tier armor set, which appeared to be for a genetic warrior; a pair of purple-tier inflatable soft-rubber gloves, which obviously went to Qianqian as they were doctor-specific; and a blue-tier ring, though its profession was unclear—it would have to be identified later.

There wasn't much else of value. It seemed Wu Hua’s 1 point of luck didn't always trigger a miracle; the Queen Bee’s drops were truly mediocre, which was a real shame for the ten thousand or so Dragon City members who had died for it.

Why the loot was so poor was something even Wu Hua couldn't fathom.

Tu Shao was even more confused, so he simply stuffed all the crystals into his spatial backpack until he reached his weight limit. His movement speed dropped to 0.7 meters per second!

Qianqian asked, "Brother Mad, what do we do now?"

Wu Hua replied, "Let's go. Keep moving deeper inside."

Qianqian asked, "But aren't we going to defend this pioneer outpost?"

Wu Hua smiled, "Can the five of us even hold it? Even if we could, do we have the money to build a base here?"

Qianqian seemed reluctant, "Then... are we just going to let the Dragon City clan have it for nothing?"

Wu Hua laughed, "They lost over ten thousand people, and they were the ones attacking it to begin with; it's only fair they get the territory. What else do you want to do? Stay here and wait for their army of tens of thousands to arrive so we can watch them reenact a bandit-clearing drama?"

Qianqian couldn't help but laugh, "Haha, alright then, I'll listen to Brother Mad."
