Just before the power outage, a quick update—please support with your votes!

Wuhua staggered over to 186o, dragging his gun, and finally 186o began to recover.

“I finally understand why you won—it turns out you were using altitude sickness to your advantage,” 186o said admiringly. “Brother, grab the gear. If you don’t pick it up soon, it will disappear.”

Wuhua coughed harshly, then bent down and selected three pieces of equipment. One was a blue military combat knife, which he needed most. Its shape resembled a twisted crescent moon, sharp and menacing, radiating a deadly aura.

“If I had this earlier, the fight wouldn’t have been so hard,” Wuhua said with a bitter smile, also picking up a purple ring and a tech chip.

“That’s all.” Wuhua knew well that without 186o’s team ultimate skill this time, whether they could finish off the boss was uncertain.

One must not be too greedy!

However, 186o was dissatisfied: “I’ve never met someone like you before—good stuff left unused, all the gear saved for me?” Though complaining, he truly admired Wuhua for knowing his limits.

Yiyi, perched on his shoulder, tapped Wuhua’s head, then pointed to the crystals on the ground.

Wuhua laughed, “You want these?”

Yiyi nodded vigorously.

Wuhua bent down and picked up seven or eight S-rank crystals of various colors. Yiyi immediately snatched one—a vivid red, likely an S-rank fire crystal.

Then, with her palms apart, Yiyi clapped them together in midair. The crystal glowed brightly, gradually transforming into a red energy orb.

Both Wuhua and 186o stared in amazement at the transformation. S-rank crystals were incredibly hard, yet Yiyi deconstructed it into a red energy stream, which she slowly absorbed into her mouth—presumably consuming it.

Wuhua was dumbfounded but soon understood: this was Yiyi’s feeding skill—energy decomposition.

Unexpectedly, after consuming the crystals, Yiyi’s entire body began glowing red and then started to enlarge. Originally only the size of a fist, within minutes she doubled in size, nearly as large as a kettle.

“Hmm…” Wuhua quickly checked the pet stats, but Yiyi’s attributes hadn’t changed.

“Want more?” Wuhua offered another handful of crystals, but Yiyi waved it off and pointed to her belly, as if saying, “I’m full.”

She yawned, somersaulted, and turned into a white light, returning to the pet space.

Wuhua stood there for a long moment, stunned. 186o laughed, “Is she your pet? Interesting.”

Wuhua couldn’t help but smile wryly, “She needs crystals and energy to survive—that’s an expensive upkeep.”

After that, they began clearing the scene. 186o gathered all the gear from the ground into his backpack, which seemed to have an incredible capacity.

“Brother, what’s your plan now?” 186o asked. “I suggest you don’t descend just yet. There’s still over four hours of pioneer guard time. Azure Star will surely gather a large force to counterattack, and our clan will hold the passage below.”

Wuhua thought for a moment and made a decision: “I plan to descend from the other side of this snow mountain. The Blue Moon Mountains have been successfully pioneered, and the southern and central zones are now connected. Brother 18, maybe you can build a tourist spot here someday—make some money.”

186o laughed heartily, “Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll have someone build a tourist site to enjoy the snowy scenery. But seriously, if you go down that way, be careful.”

Wuhua patted his shoulder, “You take care too. The oxygen is thin at the summit; normal people can’t last long.”

“Take care!”

“You too!”

Wuhua turned and started climbing the snowy peak…

The closest cities between the southern and central zones were Sky Blue City and Phoenix Tail City, over 100 kilometers apart. The Blue Moon Mountains stretched more than 50 kilometers deep—a truly giant mountain.

After crossing the snowy peak, Wuhua faced another challenge and finally understood why people from the central zone no longer pioneered here.

The other side of the mountain was a steep, treacherous cliff with a gradient of 70 degrees, covered in heavy snow. Beneath the snow lay solid ice. Visibility was poor, the surface was slippery and freezing. Fortunately, Yuqing had taught Wuhua some basic climbing techniques.

At this moment, the Finnish Star transformed into a walking stick. Wuhua pressed the gun barrel into the snow, slowly feeling his way downward. He lay on the snowbank, his other hand gripping ice chunks embedded in the snow to maintain friction with his Black Eagle gloves, slowly sliding down.

Such terrain only allowed sliding down from above; climbing up from below was nearly impossible—unless a highly equipped special forces team used grappling hooks and steel cables. Even then, exhaustion and altitude sickness at the summit would cause collapse.

Wuhua felt once again that his noble character had lent him luck. Thanks to 186o’s army opening the way, they had taken down the boss. But, from another perspective, it wasn’t pure luck—every mission and gear hunt was a near-death experience, fraught with hardships. No luck comes for free in Star Wars.

For example, just now, Wuhua lost focus; his fingers slipped from the ice chunk, his foot slid, and he tumbled down the snowy mountain…

After rolling for dozens of meters, his helmet slammed against an icy rock with a “thud,” knocking him unconscious. A damage number “-20” floated above his head.

Yiyi immediately sprang out and began punching and kicking Wuhua’s chest. Then she grabbed handfuls of snow and rubbed it onto his face. After several minutes, Wuhua finally woke up.

“Hey, could you be gentler? My fatigue is at 88%—I can’t take this rough treatment,” Wuhua complained.

Yiyi looked at him with displeasure, her gaze saying, “Stop pretending and get up to keep moving.”

“Heh, you really have my style—strict with yourself,” Wuhua said, picking up the Finnish Star.

Yiyi snorted coldly and stood still in the snowbank.

Just as Wuhua was about to descend, Yiyi grabbed his coat.

“What now?” Wuhua asked, confused.

Yiyi pointed toward a distant snowbank. Wuhua glanced and saw what appeared to be a black spot on the vast snowy field. Approaching, it was a large black hole—wide enough for several people to crawl in together.

Wuhua immediately became alert, drawing his M500 pistol and crouching as he cautiously entered.

The hole was obviously man-made, about several dozen meters long. Inside was another world. At the end lay the burnt remains of energy crystals. Against the cave wall stood a strange-looking machine—probably a drilling rig. Nearby lay a person wearing a woman’s cloth vest, but her body was frozen stiff, and a blue damage number “-1” kept floating above her head.

Wuhua understood—the girl was likely a mechanic, probably mining here. Mechanics had weak physical attributes; in this cold weather, she must have relied on energy crystals for warmth. When the crystals burned out, she froze and passed out.

Wuhua never wasted his sympathy but wasn’t a scoundrel either.

“Let’s go!” he said, turning away.

Yiyi immediately blocked his path.

“What’s this?” Wuhua was surprised. Seeing Yiyi point at the girl, he guessed, “You want to save her?”

Yiyi nodded.

“Don’t meddle,” Wuhua said, turning to leave.

Yiyi, furious, let out a yell and delivered a flying kick to Wuhua’s lower back.

Wuhua, weak as he was, cried out and fell flat on his face, a “-1” damage number appearing above his head.

“Hey, you’re bold now—daring to fight your master?” Wuhua grinned as he got up.

Yiyi ran forward to pull the girl, but given her frail physique, lifting her would be a miracle.

Seeing Yiyi exerting all her strength, her face flushed red, Wuhua sighed helplessly.

“Fine, since you’re my pet, and pets are the boss these days, I’ll help you.”
