Eight-Yuan Alloy Gale Battleblade
Purple Equipment
Agility requirement: 25
Strength requirement: 30
Attack Damage: 385–420
Sharpness:
Additional attributes: Attack Rate +3, Power of Heaven and Earth Cross Sword +30%, Charge Duration +20 seconds.
Seeing this row of stats, Wu Hua was reminded of the fervent and wild atmosphere at the Shenguai Auction Hall. This Gale Battleblade might not be considered a top-tier weapon, but its attributes were exceptionally practical, making it a high-offense tool for any genetic warrior.
Its attack power was above average, but the difference between maximum and minimum damage was minimal. Most crucial of all, its sharpness was already quite high.
In melee weapons, sharpness is a vital stat—much like the bullets for a gunman—for it determines the armor-piercing capability. Typically, weapon sharpness is ranked E, further divided into sub-levels 1–5. The higher the value, the stronger the armor-breaking power: E1, E2, and so on.
Every increase in sub-level nullifies 50 points of the opponent’s defense, while a major level upgrade obliterates a hefty 250 points of defense. This blade astonishingly reaches C2 level. Essentially, a single slash can render the Eight-Yuan Alloy Armor defenseless.
Of course, if this blade reached S level, it would be a legendary weapon capable of slicing through steel like butter. Even a needle with S-level sharpness could easily pierce through Twelve-Yuan Alloy.
Attack Rate +3 is easy to grasp: if someone strikes you once, you retaliate with three blows...
Wu Hua sighed. The attributes of this blade were well worth the struggle with the Great White Shark. He might as well rename himself—call it Mad Frenzy, or simply Desperate Warrior.
“Anything else you want appraised?” Ice Coffee asked coldly.
Wu Hua hurriedly produced the “blue-grade iron rod,” and the new reporter quipped, “Is this the legendary steel pipe?”
No sooner had he spoken than a soft bang sounded. Ice Coffee’s gold-rimmed glasses produced a plume of black smoke and exploded, sending her collapsing to the floor.
Wu Hua and the new reporter were startled and quickly helped her up. “What happened?”
Ice Coffee, her eyes ringed with black soot like a panda, stood and said, “Strange, very strange.”
“What’s going on?”
Ice Coffee explained, “My tech glasses can usually appraise blue-grade items, but for some reason, this metal rod cannot be identified.”

“What?” Wu Hua hadn’t expected that after all his efforts, the blue-grade item couldn’t be appraised. What a cruel joke.
Ice Coffee said, “Don’t worry, it’s not that there’s anything wrong with your item. My level is simply too low, and my knowledge is insufficient, so this happens.”
“No way, even you can’t identify it?” Wu Hua’s eyes widened. If the blue-grade really turned out to be just a steel pipe, he’d be at a huge loss.
“Miss Monica can appraise this item,” said Ice Coffee. “You’re lucky—Miss Monica returned early, but you’ll need to wait here for a bit.”
Wu Hua breathed a sigh of relief.
Ice Coffee took the iron rod out of the office and returned less than ten minutes later. “Mr. Mad Frenzy, Miss Monica wants to see you. Please follow me.”
Wu Hua’s heart began to pound. A high-level NPC gunmaster wanted to meet him—this item must be extraordinary.
In a small function hall on the second floor, Wu Hua opened the door and was startled. A young girl in a golden shirt and dark green skirt was at the workbench, scanning the iron rod with a sophisticated device. The instrument resembled a microscope, but the entire “microscope” radiated a brilliant blue glow.
“This is Miss Monica,” Ice Coffee introduced.
The girl turned around and smiled. “Welcome, esteemed guest.”
Wu Hua nearly fainted. Monica’s golden hair was tied into a huge ponytail, lively and adorable—not at all what he imagined a master would look like.
“Um, Master, are you Chinese?” Wu Hua asked curiously.
Monica smiled. “Does that matter? Here, let’s look at your technological energy.”
“Technological energy?” Wu Hua was puzzled. “Isn’t this just a steel pipe?”
Monica laughed. “Mr. Mad Frenzy, you found this energy source near the East Sea, right?”
Wu Hua’s doubts vanished. “Master, you have a sharp eye.”
Monica smiled. “Then, Mr. Mad Frenzy, you must have luck points either innately or equipped, correct?”
Wu Hua was stunned. “You know even that? You’re incredible, Master.”
Monica’s smile grew even more charming. Ice Coffee reminded him, “Miss Monica is a level 35 NPC.”
Wu Hua instantly felt reverence. A level 35 gunmaster—practically a god.
Monica kept smiling. “Mr. Mad Frenzy, this blue metal item that looks like an iron rod is actually an energy box. It contains compressed, powerful technological energy. This energy isn’t simple—it’s a blend of crystal source, metal, and elements. It’s the highest-grade product of the fourth-generation power sources in the Star Wars world. If we wish, we could even call it a fifth-generation power product. Of course, it’s also the new direction currently being researched by technologists worldwide.”
Wu Hua’s heart raced. “Master, what can this mixed energy do?”
Monica replied, “Simple—it possesses a new function beyond ordinary fourth-generation products. We can use it for manufacturing.”

Wu Hua’s eyes lit up. “Create a divine artifact? Dark gold? S-grade?”
“No!” Monica couldn’t help but laugh. “I am a gunsmith, a branch of the mechanist class. I can only forge products related to firearms.”
“Can you make rocket launchers? Or cannons?” Wu Hua’s imagination ran wild.
Monica smiled. “I’m sorry, Mr. Mad Frenzy. I can’t make the products you requested, and even if I could, you don’t have enough materials. Since this material is extremely rare, very few mechanists understand its composition, which also means the failure rate is very high—up to 60%.”
Wu Hua’s heart skipped a beat. To him, a 60% failure rate was no different from 100%.
“Then, Master, may I ask what you can manufacture with this material?”
Monica said, “If I make an accessory, I can guarantee a success rate of over 90%. If I craft a gun, I can only promise about 30% success. Mr. Mad Frenzy, what kind of equipment do you wish to create?”
System message:
“Do you wish to accept the task to craft a new product?”
Wu Hua decisively chose “Yes.”
System message:
“Accessory or firearm?”
Wu Hua thought for a moment and chose “firearm.” For a gunman, life depended on his gun—no gun, no livelihood.
Monica smiled. “Mr. Mad Frenzy, thank you for giving me the opportunity to try. I will do my best.”
System message:
“Esteemed player Mad Frenzy, you and the NPC Monica have established a friendly relationship. In Star Wars, when players become friends with NPCs, they receive more information from them.”
But Monica’s next words struck Wu Hua like a blow: “Mr. Mad Frenzy, if you trust me, I’ll keep the energy box for now. Also, you must pay a deposit.”
“How much?” Wu Hua asked.
Monica answered, “Compared to the value of the product, it’s not much—just ten thousand credits.”
Wu Hua collapsed to his knees with a thud. “My god...”
